Twelve very strong teams came together to fight it out for the top prize at the Star of The East, bright eyed and full of eastern promise! With the quality of competition so high, however, it was anyone's game... If our tables were feeling bullish before the quiz started, their confidence wouldn't have been knocked upon hearing that the bulldog is indeed the canine symbol of Britain! Whilst it was a clash of the Titans, our teams discovered that even 'Titans' can lose with Greek mythology telling that Zeus and his Olympians beat those very people. Whatever their score, everyone that played tonight was a true warrior, ones that Orion, the Warrior constellation, (and the subject of a question!) would have been proud of! We've Defected from the Grapes, an incredibly strong team who often do well, won the top prize with an eye watering 47 points and Payneful nabbed the wine with 19! Payneful also nearly grabbed the jackpot only losing out on the second last card in our game of 'Play Your Cards Right' but that means our teams next week have a chance of bagging a cool prize of £143...
