Happy Canadian "Thanksquizzing!"

A record number of teams came out to quiz the night away at The Railway in Blackheath. The questions were the perfect mixture of clever and tricky, as it was a close race during the first half. But "The Barflies", who were tied for second, proved that the second half is their forte and rocketed to first place with an impressive score of 29.5. Our runners up were last week's winners "Quizzical Graffiti" and our second-to-last bag of sweets went to "Too Sleepy to Be Witty!" We had a team of Canadians (Happy Thanksgiving!) who knew their cereals and film posters and a one-man team who did better than his team name predicted. A special shout out goes to the "Simple Minds" duo, one of whom confessed he'd never been to a pub quiz in his life! We are happy to pop his quiz cherry, and the team has promised to come back with reinforcements!
