Fresh Faces For Feisty Quiz!

It was fantastic to have a lot of new, fresh faces at the weekly pub quiz in Blackheath tonight. How intriguing it was to see the new teams struggle with such staples as the cryptic clues or the ditloid puzzle. But then how lovely it was to see their joy when they finally cracked one! The newcomers put up a good fight, but the victory went to the "Barflies", who are returning champs. They had some tough competition with "Lee Miserables" and "Leaves on the Line", who tied for second on 31 points. After a tricky true-false tiebreaker, it was "Leaves on the Line" who made off with that second place bottle of wine. Everyone had a great time and I hope to see everyone again soon!
