Barflies Back in the Game

Though we had a few rowdy groups in the background tonight, we still had a fab time at the Sunday quiz! We learned about tv houses, Batman films, and English and Welsh history. At the end, it was Team “Barflies” with a healthy lead in first place, back in form, and Team “It Was Only a Quiz” with a very honourable second place bottle of wine. Even though “Consistently Inconsistent” ended up at the bottom, Francesca had the best jackpot answer, so free a card. She drew the Queen (very apt!) so the £142 cash tolls over. No quiz next week for Easter Sunday, so we’ll see you again in two weeks!
