You don't need train, you just need to know how to drain
Marc F
'Twas a cloudy evening in Stokey tonight so the ones in the know flocked down to the area's best (in my opinion) back street boozer for some great drinks, great food and even greater quizzing.
The win went to a team that knew well how to drain their flagon and their creative skills with play-doh was even better. An unassuming team of three in the corner not asking for much knew the majority of what I asked for them and they were animated in their excitement of the convincing win.
The bottle of wine was targeted by another team of three at the start and they played a clever game to take it by half a point so well done them.
The jackpot also grows after Quiz Island failed to get through Play Your Cards Right despite the vocal support of the whole pub. I felt very much like Brucie himself.
The creative challenge was also a highlight as teams had to make sporting sculptures of either a tennis player or Tour de France rider. All the sculptures were incredible and I included a few in the photos so check them out.
It's a shame I won't be coming back next week because this quiz really was a great deal of fun. I suggest you get yourselves down there when your regular, and far better, host will be back in the house for Stokey's newest and (probably) greatest quiz.
