Lighthouse Quiz Hits the Big Time!

A very strong turn-out for the quiz tonight - 16 quiz teams poised at the starting-gate but only one could return home victorious. The regular quiz favourites were beaten to the top-spot by Dairy Queens, one point above the duo Swedish Interview. Ken's Corner shared bronze with Muggy Marney. A particularly strong play doh round on the subject of 'Time' - incorporating graves, evolution and Salvador Dali's 'The Persistence of Memory'. The jackpot round was a tense one but failed to get beyond three cards - the £250 rolls on into next week's quiz.
