This Tuesday eve I once again presided over the cosiest, loveliest quiz in Fitzrovia. Possibly in all of central London. Possibly. Sure. The quiz itself was very, very equine, with questions about Victoria Pendleton's successful shift into a saddle of a different stripe; the term for a horse's mother (hint: it's not "mare"); and vaulter Rosalind Ross. But wait! There's more. Because cannot forget the team with the eerily synchronous name, HORSEfinger. The fates were with them tonight—of course—as they took home the bottle of wine for come second-to-last. On the flip side, congrats to the topsy-turvily named Free Bottle of Wine, who ended the night at the opposite end of the leader board, taking home the grand prize pot. Congrats to all, hope to see you again at some point. 'Til then, play safe and be kind.
