A Fundamentally Close (and slightly romantic) Quiz Night

Another good night at the Green Man in Fitzrovia—and the closest in recent memory, with a 3-way tie for 2nd forcing a dramatic tiebreak to determine who wins the bottle of wine for coming second-to-last. Just The Two of Us took it, a lovely and rather brainy couple on only their 3rd date. (Odd to think of my quiz as romantic, but hey—it takes all kinds.) In another interesting turn, "Grumpy Digby & Uncle Tom" turned out to be the alter egos of the Aussie band Furnace and the Fundamentals, currently on tour in Britain and Europe. (Why they needed to come up with an original team name I'll never know.) Thanks for coming out on your off night fellahs! x
