The Lush Puppies broke their Tie to take 1st Place

Another brilliant evening at The Grapes! The summer evening was spent testing our knowledge over a challenging but thrilling quiz!

Great questions, free drinks, 50-pound bar tabs and of course a jackpot worth 310 pounds was up for grabs! Why wouldn't you make it down for the evening?

In 2nd to last place, Quiz Akabusi stole the show and were awarded a lovely drop of merlot! Congratulations to this team!

For the first place... It came down to a tiebreaker -The Lush Puppies Vs. The Gryffindorks

After a tumultuous 30 seconds, both teams had their answer in for the quiz... The team that took home first prize were... The Lush Puppies!!

However, the jackpot round was still up for grabs and the prize was huge! 310 pound. It again went to a tiebreaker between:

Banish Boris Vs Marys Little Lambs - It was Banish Boris who won the comp and got to choose from 1 of 10 envelopes. Unfortunately, they didn't choose the jackpot envelope, which only means one thing: next weeks jackpot is up by 20pound- 330 pounds!!!
