The Insidous Six Snuck Up and Stole the Crown (Bar Tab)

A fantastic and busy night the Grapes! All teams rearing with excitement for a fantastic quiz! The competition and spirits were high for a challenging 2 rounds.

The Insidious Six, came out of no where (figuratively, not literally - they were present and participating in the Quiz) to steal the crown of The Grapes Pub Quiz Champions (for one night only, so far). After a tight and close first round this group of friends reigned supreme above the other teams and getting themselves a 50 pound food and bar tab for the Grapes. We will see them back there soon!

Alas, not all was lost for not being a part of their team... 2nd to last place was still up for grabs! And grabbing at it 2 teams did. We went into a tie breaker between Down Under (2 fellas from Down Under) and Bleedin Obvious (A lovely lady and chap in town from Norway)... It was tense and a tricky round between the 2 nations fighting for the bottle of wine but Bleedin Obvious were able to take away the prize.... Wasn't that bleedin obvious?

The jackpot round was taken away by Let's Get Quizzical, but they were left still feeling quizzical because they didn't choose the correct envelope! Which means there is only one thing to do ladies and gents... release the desire for a bit of competition and a Quiz and.... join us next week!
