Once again it was eyes down for the world famous quiz night at the equally world-famous Arab boy public house in Putney upon Thames (it’s not on the Thames but it’s close) ...seven teams faced off each other and when the dust settled only one remained - - the Canary and Cockrell won the £50 bar tab.
However it was ‘the bar staff need the barbers’ who stepped up to see if they could pick the jackpot envelope and to their ‘delight’ didn’t win £70 but won a nail file much to the amusement of the long-haired bar staff who had been insulted thus!
