The leafy suburb of polite Putney was rocked tonight by the family team of 'New Balls Please' who thought at the moment of game, set and match they had pulled off the upset of the quizzing championships here at the Arab Boy, pub of pubs. But no ... they hadn't - 'Happy 4th July To The Only American In Here' won on a tie-breaker and broke the english hearts of 'New Balls...' just like the americans did to us in the war of independence, in the womens world cup and now, immortalized along side those minor incidents - they won a £50 bar tab too!
