Worldly Wombats Win Wonderfully

Another boozy trivia mob won their first ever Station Hotel pub quiz title this evening, as Chilly Wombats coolly met the challenge and topped the table with 33.5 points. For their efforts, the £50 bar tab first prize was well-deserved.

The other prize, the reward for coming second last, was scooped up by Amba, who took home a bottle of wine for the logistically tricky feat of being one off the foot of the table with their 25 point total.

The other big news of the evening was that the jackpot has been won! The BGs didn't do so well in the main quiz, but having made an excellent attempt at the "closest-to" jackpot question (well they knew more about Venus than everyone else), they stepped up and, pinning their hopes on envelope no.3, luck was on their side and the cash was theirs!

The jackpot begins its regrowth (again) next week...
