We had another blast tonight at the Station Hotel, with many new faces amongst the crowd of quizzers. With a large number of teams, we navigated our way through cryptic tube stations, cartoon front doors, and John Travolta films, and at the end of it all was Team “Sorry, I Can’t Come to the Phone Right Now. I’ve Been Further Arrested.” who kept the lead away from everyone else. This was their third victory in a row, they claim, so watch out for when they return. The bottle of wine prize went to newcomers “Maleficent” and the jackpot opportunity went to Josh from “Mr Bright Side Road”. He played it safe through all 8 cards, and it came down to the final card … which came up as one number in the wrong direction! And it was that team’s first quiz without a price in about four weeks! Tough break. But at least that means the £114 rolls over to next week!
