Persistence Pays Off for the Rovers!

The weather was gorgeous outside, and as the sun went down, it became the perfect opportunity to finish off the day with a pub quiz. Our big story tonight was the breakthrough of "Roy's Rovers", a team who barely misses a chance to quiz here at the Station Hotel. At the end of the first half they were tied for first against last week's winners "The Barflies", which is a feat in and of itself. They had a strong second half as well, but not quite as strong as "The Barflies" who took home their second victory in a row. They remained undaunted, however, and won the chance to try for the jackpot. Lucia from the "Rovers" deftly made her way higher and lower through an amazing TEN cards, and took home the jackpot! A great end to a wonderful day.
