It was another fantastically full night at the Station Hotel, almost at capacity, but a really big crowd for some quizzing realness. We had guest appearances by both "Epstein's Bodyguards" and "Flirty the Emotional Support Horse" who were strong with tricky questions, including some outer space criminal activity. Our top prize went to "The Barflies" who are always a strong team. The second-to-last place bottle of wine went to a very surprised (but very happy) "The 4 Amigos" who squeaked under the radar by just one point. And the jackpot opportunity went to Alex from Team "5am" (or is it "Sam"? Maybe "Jam" ... not sure) whose sports knowledge is better than their penmanship. He went for the odds but was stopped just two cards away from a cash victory. So £115 rolls over to next week. See you then!
