Fire and Furry 2: More Fiery and More Furrier

In a rare quiet night at the Station Hotel, we still saw a healthy amount of teams come out for the Thursday night quiz. Many teams participated with reduced numbers, probably thanks to the upcoming bank holiday, but the top prize tonight went to "Fire and Furry", in their second victory of the year. A special shout out goes to a number of other teams too, including "Gonna Loose" who fulfilled their (misspelled) prophecy but had the best singing voices in the pub; team JAM, who brought brains AND brawn to the quiz; and the man from quiz regulars "Roy's Rovers", who this week found himself on his own but still managed a prize! Okay, so it was the second-to-last bottle of wine, but still! In addition, the cash jackpot is now approaching £200, so if you want to take a shot at winning it, you'd better stop by next Thursday at 8pm!
