Another Notch In The Belt for "Teama Turner"!

New teams and veteran teams alike gathered inside the warm walls of The Station Hotel to try their hand at the Thursday night pub quiz. This rowdy and energetic crowd navigated their way through questions about hurricanes, nuclear weapons and dogs in film. We had a close first half, but in the second half the stars appeared to align for "Teama Turner", who rocketed ahead of their competition, finishing with a very impressive lead of six points. Also, something happened in our jackpot question tonight that has never happened before: Two teams guessed the same answer and both were closest to the correct answer! After a tiebreaker showdown, it was Richard from "Teama Turner" who got the chance to Play His Cards Right, but sadly tripped up on the third card. So our jackpot grows bigger and he'll have to come back next Thursday to have another shot!!
