A Very Large Crowd Means Many Winners

It was yet another exciting quiz night at The Station Hotel in Hither Green tonight! The first half scores were very close, and it was anyone's game in the second half, when many of the questions grew more difficult and tricky. In the end it came down to a tiebreaker between 'Fire and Furry' and newcomers 'Toopito'. What is the longest continuous time spent in space? 'Fire and Furry' guessed closer (437 days!) and swanned away with the first place prize: a £50 bar tab! That wasn't the end of the quiz though. All 14 teams competed for a chance at the £197 jackpot. It was a very lucky night for Robbie from 'Quiz Akabusi', another team of newcomers, as he won the question, and then drew the correct envelope! Well done to all teams.
