I'm always intrigued by names people choose for their quiz teams. Some are based on a pun featuring the word "Quiz", others relate to a team member's .name, some people even go as far as making a team name out of a current event. My own personal favourites though, are the "Mystery" ones, names that have no meaning other than to those folk by whom they were invented.
NYE and TBC are two such names and they were very prominent last night at The Spice Of Life quiz.
The two teams tied on a very respectable score of 42 points each so a tie-break was needed.
In the end N Y E was the victorious team with T B C in second place both teams winning some cash but what I need to know is what on earth do these mysterious initials stand for?? I must ask next week!
