August - peak holiday time for many places and at The Spice of Life some French holiday makers joined in the fun playing along but at times finding question translation a bit tricky!
Eleven teams in all took part and at the end a tie-break decided the winning team "Cummy Bears" with "I'am Sparticus" finishing in second place whilst "Andrew's Angels" were third and a bottle of wine was won by "N Y E" for finishing second to last.
A French couple had earlier decided not to join in but half-way through the quiz, the female half of the couple confided to quizmaster Richard Linton that she could have correctly answered many of the questions.
C'est la vie!!
