A raucous riot of a quiz

Once again, there was a stupendously stirring atmosphere for the quiz at a packed Rylston. Almost too stirring in fact, as at times I struggled to be heard above the roar of the crowd! This week, honors went to 'Nine Hundred Dollary Doos' who picked up the £40 bar tab with a top score of 42.5 points. Actually it was a high scoring quiz all round, with the two teams in joint last place 'Quiz Johnstone' and 'Presidents Club Donation Society' both finishing with a very creditable 32 points. The jackpot wasn't won, which means that next week it will be an amazing £250, with only five envelopes to choose from!
