Tonight's quiz had a bit of everything. An utterly rammed house, standing room only. Technical difficulties with the mic. A team of one (Go Stros!) and a team that broke the mythical 40 point barrier. And not one but two anagrams: One about Japan and one about Humphrey Bogart. In the end, the newly formed Non-Venomous Snakes took the win, being the sole team breaking through to 41 points. Meanwhile, Quizzing with Exceptional Ideas were rewarded for standing at the bar all night long with a chill bottle of rosé. Drink it well! Apologies to the teams for the mic distortion. Thanks for bearing with me to the end—which is when BoJo's Massive Elections stumbled on the second card of jackpot draw. Hope they'll return to try again! And hopefully we can get that mic sorted—post haste!
