A noisy night at the Royal Oak

A noisy night at the Royal Oak in Borough with 8 teams in a tiny room and a very noisy birthday party going on in the adjacent area. Lucky I had a Mike. We had our own birthday team as well who did get through to the Jackpot round but fell at the third fence going lower on a queen and getting a king. I felt for them. Very nasty cards tonight. Overall winners were Who Killed the Quizmaster? who from their competitive nature I suspect it wasn't their first victory. We also ended up in a tie break for 2nd last with Periodic Table Dancers getting the wine in the colour of their choice. I guess the regular Quizmaster will be back next week but I'll see you there next time. X
