And so, after 12 years of quizzing at The Roundhouse, it was my final quiz in Wandsworth...
On the leaderboard front, One Man Band returned with his backing singers (this time called Baldy and the Beauties) and managed to hustle their way into 2nd place... but it was the regulars £Coalition of Chaos£ that claimed their place in history and became reigning champions of 2018.
After weeks of rollovers, Play Your Cards Right hit an all time high of £216 and after dozens of attempts, the money was finally won to give one lady a lovely early Christmas present.
It has been a genuine privilege to host the local quiz for all these years. Thank you to Question One for finding the gig in the first place; thank you to The Roundhouse and all the staff, current and former, who have become great friends; and thank you to all the quizzers over the years who have made my Monday evenings always something to look forward to.
