Ultimate Quizbee defend their title!

Whew!! 55 people turned up to the quiz tonight at the Richard 1st, a fantastic turn out! And incredible to see all our regulars return, and a lot of old faces who have not been for a while. A really great atmosphere!

A little late starting, but the first round proved rather difficult for most, with lots of groans during the answers - we all know what a Rhino's eye looks like NOW!

The bottle of wine was a very close contest, with the last 5 teams all being 4 points away from each other, with Wargan taking the wine (it's what they really came for), keeping up tradition of the two-person team coming penultimate.

A dramatic tie-breaker concluded our evening, with Ultimate Quizbee and Tapas 4 having to guess the length of Xie Qiuping's Guiness World Record holding hair length - Ultimate Quizbee guessing within 2m and taking the figurative crown!!!

Thanks again to everyone coming, and for the wonderful staff at Richard 1st; I do hope it's just as busy next week!
