'Gallic Gays' Gallantly Take Gold

A tame. calm evening at the Richard 1st this evening, but not without the cheers and groans at the tricky questions being conquered or defeated.
A few returning teams from the days of the old quizmaster, so made sure they felt incredibly welcome in my new hands as new host, was great to see them.
The 'Gallic Gays', after a few losing streaks recently, took the quiz by storm, taking the half time game and slaughtering the cryptic round, giving them a lead of 4.5 points - a whopping 39.5!!!! Highest score we've had in a while.

Hope to see more people next week; Summer's almost over, better make the most of it.
