A very warm welcome

‘‘Twas my first time doing my now regular quiz at Richard 1st, and what a wonderful night it was!
Not a single empty table in sight, 56 people crammed into the Greenwich pub and welcome me as their new host with open arms.
12 teams fought for the tab, with the top 4 being 4 points away from each other, but the punderful and topical “Au Raab Voir” took it with 39 points, with “Madame Eggs” close second with 38 points.
The bottle of wine was taken by our smallest team of 2, “Northerners Down South”, it’s what they wanted all along!
I am hugely looking forward to continuing to host this quiz every week, a fantastic crowd!
