The Shaymen Are Back With A Bang

This evening we had a whole host of teams tied up for first place as we came to the end of our first round. No less than 4 teams were on course for first place, but in the second round, ‘The Shaymen’ steamed ahead with a 4 point lead to snatch the £50 bar tab at the end of the second round. It then came time to Play Your Cards Right for our respectable £79 cash jackpot. Newcomers ‘The Wabbies’ were up this week, and they got all the way to the penultimate card, before being knocked out by a pair. Unlucky for them, but lucky for all of next week’s quizzers, as we’ll have an even bigger prize to play for next week! I’m looking forward to seeing you all there next week for another cracking quiz!
