‘The Shaymen’ Are Back!

What a turn out this week at The Rectory! The rain did nothing to put off our quizzers and we had some fiesty competition. Scores were exceedingly close for our top three teams, with a tie for 1st Place closing up our first round; both "Paddy Power" and "The Shaymen" were neck and neck with 21 points each. As always though, the fiendish 2nd round split the pack, with "The Shaymen" coming up trumps with just a half a point lead. It was down to 2nd to last place winners "Vino Cider Ale" to play for our jackpot, but unfortunately, they were beaten with just 2 cards left to play! Thanks for playing everyone, see you next week!
