‘Quizlamic Extremists’ Are Extremely Good Quizzers!

Tonight was a busy night at The Rectory, and it was a joy to see so many new quizzers joining us this week. We had last week’s winners in the quiz, renamed to ‘We Thought This Was Speed Dating’, but unfortunately the crown was snatched from them this week! Newcomers ‘Quizlamic Extremists’ swooped in after a respectable first round to claim 41 points overall, winning them the crown and the £50 bar & food tab. This week the jackpot was up to a very nice £77 and it was ‘Hawaii Is The Wettest State’ to come up to the cards. Unfortunately for them they were beaten 4 cards in, which means we roll that £77 over to next week. Join us next week some more World Cup Fever and see if you can beat our reigning champs!
