A sticky night in Clapham welcomed three teams of regulars to The Railway tonight. All previous winners at one time or another so it was setting up to be a clash of the titans!
"The Undateables" took an early lead, ahead by 5 points at the break, but "Lethal Quizzle" started the second half well, taking the free drink and the bonus point for the anagram question. Some tough tube pictograms proved decisive as the extra points gave them the chance to catch up to "The Undateables".
With only three teams in the running, there was no wine of shame prize for second to last, so the only prize of the £25 bar tab went to "Lethal Quizzle" at the end of the night, winning by a point.
There was still the rollover jackpot question to come and "The Undateables" lack of cricketing knowledge let them down, and "The Charlies" over-thought their answer to leave the way clear for "Lethal Quizzle" who guessed closest. Down to only four envelopes now, could they get lucky and win across the board?
YES!! The £200 jackpot was won! And they went home very happy indeed!
