Full house again at the Railway this week with 10 teams in attendance to compete for the prizes and maybe win a drink. It Quiz what it Is were back to fight it out with regulars Rum Punch and Dyslexics Untied, while many newbies joined us to test their skills.
There's no room at the Inn! took everyone by surprise by being joint leaders at half time only to streak ahead and claim the crown and the £25 bar tab.
The wine of shame was won by a hair by Mugabe;s dead, Harare! and very grateful they were too.
Which just left the Jackpot - still at £200, still not won for a few weeks now. Rum Punch were closest to the answer (long Jump record - 18.26m) and stepped up for Play Your Cards Right. Drum roll please.... was a tense game, they guessed lucky on a six, but lucked out on a seven..
We're already booked out for next week for a local college, so see you all in a fortnight for more brainteasers, booze and bucks!
