The Quiztastic Railway

A busy night at the Railway as ever, with 10 teams packing the upstairs of the pub, which made for a hectic night of quizzing delight. Despite - or maybe because of - sporting 9 members, Quiz Team Aguilera only managed 4th place, whereas Quizlamic Extremists and Dyslexics Untied were tied in 2nd place at half time and went on to take 2nd & 3rd place respectively, despite only having two team members each!
Credit must go to Billy's Bitches (& Ben) though, who lead from the start and stayed there to claim the first prize of the £25 bar tab as well as nabbing one of the free drinks to boot! The coveted bottle of wine for 2nd-to-last place went this week to And then were 3, who were in 5th at half-time, but managed only 10.5 pts in the 2nd half to ensure 8th.
A good night all round, looking forward to many more!
