A packed night at the Railway for it's final quiz before the refurb saw no less than 51 people squeezed into the upstairs room, all tables packed and extra chairs brought in - looked to be a hectic night. Lots of newbies in tonight, with a fair showing of regular teams - Dylsexics Untied and Wellingtons - and some couples to add to the mix. It was a tough quiz for some, with many teams barely making the high 20s after two rounds, but experience showed in the end, and 'Hallal, is it meat you're looking for?' stayed strong in the second half to clinch the prize. 'Quiz Friends' took the bottle of wine for a stalwart second-to-last-place finish and were very pleased to do so. All in all, a good night to finish the season, before starting afresh in December, just in time for Christmas!
