Quizzing In a Winter Wonderland

A full house at The Railway shrugged an ambivalent shoulder to the weather at 47 souls packed the room to mark a raucous quiz of locals and die-hards. Railway regulars and quiz virgins went head-to-head in a tough night's quizzing that testing the grey matter on history, music, geography and French, to name just a few of the varied questions tonight, While the snow came down, the questions came up and the keen quizzers rose to the occasion. Free drinks were won by 'Quiz Tarrent' and 'Just the 3 of Us', but we can quiz it if we try, while the wine of shame went happily to the 'Fantastic Four',
First prize went inevitably to 'FC Forso', who led from the start, and despite losing two points for an 8-man team, still won by a head. The jackpot question was jointly won by 'Spirit Fingers' and 'Just the 3 of us', but between them they still couldn't draw the winning envelope and the jackpot rolls over once again.
