Post-bank holiday and pre-payday proved a quieter night than usual, but six teams still made it out to test their skills against this week's quiz. Last week's champs were absent, but the wine-winners were in attendance, but on their A-game tonight.
Three teams were tied in first place at the close, with John Trivialta, Hawaii is the wettest state and Haggis, cheats & tatties in a head-to-head tie-break for the 1st prize. Hawaii is the wettest state guessed closest and took the £25.00 bar tab.
Quiz on my face! were happy 2nd to lasters with the wine of shame and the Nutsuckers got to choose from six envelopes for the £200.00 jackpot. But it wasn't their lucky night and the jackpot rolls over once again!
