New Year, New Quiz!

Question One smashed into the New Year with a massive 12 team 54 people quiztravaganza at the Railway this week.
Some old faces and some new teams were in attendance, with Rum Punch, Clapham North Polyamoury Society and This is a sh*t start to the Year all back after the Christmas break to blow the cobwebs off and get down to some serious quizzing.
Welcome back also to the Famous Five and the Creative Juices aren't Flowing and a big hello to Jamie & the Drs, Quizzy Rascal and Bear in a pot who all gave the incumbents a run for their money. It was down to a tie-break for the winning two teams, with Rum Punch just pipping them to the prize, but it was a close run thing. Bear in a pot were also in the offing for the jackpot in a tense Play Your Cards Right finale, only to fall at the last hurdle with an even split on the last card. The wine of shame was claimed by Charlie's Angel who we only shoe-horned in after bringing in extra furniture! So well done to them!
