It Quiz about time!

We were blessed by a visit from Thistle Cross brewery this week, purveyors of Scottish Cider no less! And yes, there was a whiskey-flavoured one! They were kind enough to bestow a crate of cider to our runners-up this week, a prize gratefully claimed by Darren's Bags who just pipped The Falcons by half a point. Winners tonight were long-time also-rans It Quiz what it quiz, who finally seized first place and well deserved it was too.
There was a tie-break for the wine of shame between old-timers Prim & the Propers and birthday girl Skye's the Limit, which was won demonstrably the P&Ps.
But the real winners tonight were the rollover jackpot duo of Let's get Quizzical. They only joined at the last minute, and guessed - exactly - how many Dr Who episode's featured David Tenant (47) to get a chance for the cash with Play Your Cards Right. After an aborted first effort (mostly my faulty) we drew fresh cards and had a re-run. Apart from a nervous 7 in the middle, it was a clear run and they went home happy and £200 to the better off!
