Jumping jackpots quizeroos is that a prize I see before me? After a long wait, the £200.00 jackpot was finally claimed this week! After eroding the envelopes to an eventual 4, lucky winners the 'Sassy Kittens' took home the cash this week after successfully guessing the rollover question - what is the deepest hole dug by man? (and the answer wasn't Brexit!) So well done to them, big smiles all round.
Also big hairy smiles from this week's winners, 'The C**k Destroyers'! (obviously, chicken farmers) who were tied in first place at half time with 'Casting Couch' and serial winners 'You're a Quizzard Otrivia Newton John'; but held out and surged ahead to claim the first prize of a £25.00 bar tab.
It was close at the bottom too, with only a point separating the last three teams, but 'In the Mouth', squeezed into second to last to claim the wine of shame!
Big shout tonight to 'Eclecticity' with an international team of glitz and glamour, but ultimately left empty-handed. Thanks to all who came, and next week's jackpot is... some money, probably... of an indeterminate amount... see you there!
