With Burns night not long past and Chinese New Year just around the corner, the Railway had a truly global feel to the quiz crowd tonight, with over a dozen nations from 5 continents in the house. A tough quiz soon sorted the serious from the frivolous though and half time scores showed a split room, with half the teams, it seemed, aiming for the wine! But after a close fought 2nd half, Rich's team, despite not booking a table, stormed into the lead, just pipping Hogwart's to the illustrious prize of a £25 bar tab.
A good night was had by all, with free drinks being won around the room and general bon homie in attendance. We all look forward to more nights of quizzing fun!
