A gloomy night in Clapham bought the quizzers in to shelter from the storm, to cozy up around a stiff drink and a stiff quiz to warm the cockles of their minds. Last week's winners "The Undateables" were back in full effect to defend their crown; "Dirty Smartini" were again here to challenge for the title and "Bat Kave", "Bad Vintage" and "Pearl Pharmacy" launched their own claim for supremacy.. We welcomed some newbies tonight in the form of "We Thought This Was Speed Dating", "Quiztian Mingle" and "NE1 4ABJ", while "Matt's A Bitch!" and "Third Wheel" made good on their promise of not winning anything. Free drinks were won by "The Undateables" and "Pearl Pharmacy" too, while "We Thought This Was Speed Dating" took the coveted wine of shame.
Overall winners from the start were "NE1 4ABJ", who, despite their numbers won by a single point, gained from the anagram as a bonus. "Pearl Pharmacy" were a well-placed second and "Dirty Smartini" guessed the jackpot question as well as coming third. But, despite only six envelopes in the mix, still didn't get the £200 jackpot, which rolls over to next week.
