A Hot night with a Sticky ending!

The hot nights have brought the quizzers out - and it's not even Summer (proper) yet! Full house at the Railway again this week, with record numbers as 54 keen-minded quizzers filled the upstairs of this salubrious venue.
We welcome back the Cummy Bears and The Undateables, both not seen for a while, with lots of new faces, too numerous to mention. Rum Punch were here, jockeying for position with Top Trumps and The Cherry Yoghurts for the wine of shame, but the Trumps team claimed it by a sneaky half-point.
At the other end, What's our name again? and the Warm-faced Warburtons were striving to catch the Cummy Bears, who led from the start, being two points clear of the pack at the break. They proved too strong (or slick) and in the end one by a clear head.
Despite guessing the exact number of UK no,1s for Elvis (21), and only having 3 envelopes to choose from , Rum Punch were unlucky and went home empty-handed. We'll have 5 envelopes next week, to keep the odds up for the £200 jackpot. Hope to see you all there!
