I thought this was Speed Dating smashed it tonight! They won the quizz. They nailed the free drinks question. And they correctly answered the Closest To question, allowing them to take part in the jackpot round. AND....? They didn't win.
So, next week at The Plough the jackpot round is worth £40. That is nothing to sneeze at. That's quiz entries for four team members for the next...really long time.

Things started slow tonight. It took a while for everything to get their groove on. And then we had some really close contenders. Four and a Half Brains looked good. Watts Up got so close! Mac & Cheese seemed promising but couldn't quiiiiiite follow through. And the Outsiders? They managed to strategise in a first class fashion, coming second to last and winning that coveted bottle of wine.

It was a good night. Two happy dogs, a family expecting the birth of a baby boy, cheers and laughter. What's not to love about quizz night? Seriously.
