A very healthy 8 teams battled it out for the cash prize tonight of £56, a packet of Jammie Dodgers and a bottle of wine and I personally was thrilled to be back!

After the first half, "Not Ready Already" had a 1 point lead ahead of "Let's Get Quizzical" and "She Was Only Quizteam Years Old" who had 20 and "Quiz Akabusi" and "Quizzy Rascals" were close behind them with 19. "Not Ready Already" managed to maintain their lead, narrowly beating "She Was Only Quizteam Years Old" by 1 point to win on 41 points.

"The Old Gits took home a bottle of red for coming in 7th and Quiz Akabusi won the chance to play the jackpot. After a very tense game of Get Your Cards Right, included 2 (!) repeated cards they ended up taking home a £70 jackpot. Not bad at all for a Thursday night in January!
