Quiztopher Columbus, astonishing!

We had 13 teams taking part in our quiz tonight ready to take home prizes of £78 cash, some Jammie Dodgers, a bottle of wine and free drinks!

We had lots of multiple point questions tonight meaning that there were some really high scoring teams - 'Not Ready Already' lead the way with 21.5, followed by 'Mind Boggled' on 18.5 and 'The Pickled Eggheads' on 18.

After the second half of the quiz, we had a winner with 'Not Ready Already' on 44.5 points. 'The Pickled Eggheads' were shortly after them with 44 points HOWEVER it did not end there! As a large team of 9, 'The Pickled Eggheads' were on a 3 point penalty, bringing them to 41 points and into joint second place with 'Quiztopher Columbus'. We went head to head (Q: In what year was David Attenborough born? A: 1926) and 'Quiztopher Columbus' got the answer bang on, winning the Jammie Dodgers!

Our bottle of wine went to 'Team Baloo' and 'Lost in Translation' won the chance to play for the jackpot by correctly guessing Tom Cruise's height (170cm!). They made it through all 6 cards to take home £40 and we're thrilled for them!
