It was a busy night in the spacious and stylish bar area at the Plough, Dulwich, and not even the miserable weather could keep this enthusiastic lot from turning up in their droves! You could tell the competition was hot, straight from off, with some questions seeming like child's play to our teams, many correctly guessing that 'All children, except one, grow up' was the first line from JM Barrie's Peter Pan. If they were on fire from the beginning, then they continued like the two year old Ardi Rizal (subject of a controversial internet video) and were smoking! To continue the theme of shocking infant stories, the 1980's ad campaign slogan 'Nothing comes between me and my Calvins' was not going to come between our contestants and their points, the more fashion conscious knowing that it was said by a 14 year old Brooke Shields. Not Ready Already bagged the top cash prize by one point with 42 and Cool Mums got the biscuits with a very respectable 41. Winning the wine via a play off were newcomers Splinterers but the Jackpot still hasn't been won, with £70.00 up for grabs next week...
