At The Plough tonight, the dominant quiz force of East Dulwich yet again was Not Ready Already. They retained their title from last week, walking away with £62 in cash after an excellent performance saw them tack up a winning score of 35 points. They were a full 3 points ahead of The Gits, whose 32 points bagged them a consolatory packet of Jammie Dodgers. Further consolation rewards went to Chicken Kiev at the other end of the quiz table, who took home a bottle of red for coming second-from-last with 17 points. The jackpot question at the end saw the usual drama, with No Sex For Ben coming closest to guessing correctly America’s military budget last year. Sadly, having won that battle, they couldn’t win the war, as Play Your Cards Right didn’t quite go their way. The jackpot therefore rolls over to next week, when the jackpot will be a cool £60.
