On the evening of the 2019 General Election, the Plough in East Dulwich certainly had this Quizmasters vote! A great crowd, a beautiful pub and a sheet of quiz questions is all that one needs on a Thursday night. If our players were feeling peckish, maybe they'd plump for a Weinerbrod (meaning Vienna Bread in Danish), or maybe they'd call it a Kopenhagen (Copenhagen, ironically, in Vienna, Austria) but generally here in Britain, we call it a Danish pastry, many of our teams correctly answering this tasty question! If seafood was their bag the Tiger crab might have them feeling a bit crabby! Mainly because it doesn't exist, a few of our ocean-wise teams knowing that the Tiger, Leopard and Helmet crabs were the way to go. Finally, they might want to sit down and eat something a bit more substantial with 'Fava beans and a nice chianti', the cuisine of choice with human liver for Hannibal Lecter, our teams showing their Silence of the Lambs knowledge! Not Ready Already won for a second time whilst this Quizmaster has been quizzing here, scoring a very respectable 37 points! Bethan (and co!) nabbed the bottle of wine with 26 points and last placed 4x's came from behind to bag the £70.00 Jackpot!
