It was a delight to return to The Plough after 2 weeks away and reunite with my lovely quiz regulars...

However, I was met with a sight that all quizmasters dread....a broken microphone!!

Nevertheless the quiz went ahead, albeit with slightly more strain on my vocal chords.

Newcomers ‘You’re a Quizzard Harry’ romped home with an impressive 29/45 on what was a very difficult set of questions. The fact they were devouring a wheel of Camembert during their winning moment only sweetened the victory!

Despite Plough regular Alex’s best efforts the ‘higher or lower’ jackpot was not won, meaning £30 will be there for the taking next week! Come down and try your luck!
